Danish Architecture Centre at Bryghuspladsen
Danish Architecture Centre at Bryghuspladsen and a route along Copenhagen’s Inner Harbour
Friday the 11th of October 9:00-12:00
Format: Event/ Tour
Clean air should be a human right! Join thousands of students from across Denmark who are running to advocate for cleaner air in Copenhagen. This fun run along Copenhagen’s Inner Harbour takes place on Denmark’s annual Sports Day and in celebration of the city welcoming the C40 World Mayors Summit. The United Nations Strategic Development Goal (SDG) 3 challenges all of us to build healthy lives and promote well-being for people all ages. Learn how cities like Copenhagen are fighting air pollution. Students taking part in the run will also contribute to ‘Breath With Me’ – an international collective art project by Jeppe Hein – by painting a representation of their own breath!
The event is created and managed by The Danish Architecture Center (DAC), funded by TrygFonden and created in collaboration with BLOX, DGI Leisure Sport Greater Copenhagen and Skolernes Motionsdag.
