Liveable cities of tomorrow – building on nature-based climate adaptation

Format: MasterClass – 3 key note presentations with workshop

University of Copenhagen (UCPH) and NIRAS present global cases of transforming and adapting cities through Nature-based solutions for climate adaptation and resilience. The cases illustrate how we can Plan, Implement and Realize climate adaptation in line with the UN SDGs. This Masterclass includes case presentations and a workshop where the delegates can explore and debate barriers, drivers and synergies for f Nature-based solutions for climate adaptation in their own context. The workshop is facilitated by experienced academics and professionals from UCPH and NIRAS who will also participate in and support the discussions. The aim is to provide the participants with knowledge and a purposeful understanding of where to start their own process of creating livable cities within the scope of the UN SDGs and Nature-based solutions for climate adaptation.
