Time for a Plastic Change
Friday 11th October 12:00-18:00
Format: Debate about plastic
Every year 8-10 million tons of plastic end up in the world’s oceans and if we don’t do anything, by 2025 there will be one ton of plastic to every three tons of fish in the ocean. Only 9% of all plastic ever produced has been recycled and production of new plastic is still increasing every year. The plastic crisis is a slow moving, yet fast-paced disaster with a high impact that is happening in plain sight.
Plastic Change is a Danish environmental organization on a great mission fighting plastic pollution. Our mission is to break the curve on plastic production and plastic pollution. Together with the organization Green Kayak, Plastic Change invite the participants to debate the problem and potential solutions.
