Report Release: Climate Change’s Consequences for Denmark

Wednesday, 9th  of October 10-11.30

Format: Presentation and debate

Join the release of the first-ever report on climate change’s consequences for Denmark. The effects of climate change are already felt the world over, and will only become more stark as temperatures rise in coming decades. Denmark is no exception. Everyday Danes and their political leaders must understand how global climate change will effect every element of life: our economy, people, and nature.

Therefore, the international auditing firm Ernst & Young has developed for CARE in Denmark the first-ever report on climate change’s consequences for Denmark across five sectors: trade, farming, infrastructure, people, and geopolitics.  The release event will include remarks and a discussion of findings and recommendations, along with debate featuring stakeholders from each sector in conversation mayors and Members of Parliament. Open to the public but due to security at Parliament, seats must be reserved in advance.
